# Marketplace

### Discover, Deploy, and Monetize Trading Intelligence

The Edge Marketplace is the distribution and monetization layer of [Candora Edge](/whitepaper/candora-pro/candora-edge.md).

It allows traders, developers, researchers, and strategy creators to publish, discover, deploy, and monetize AI agents built for the Candora ecosystem.

As automation becomes increasingly important in modern markets, useful trading intelligence should not stay limited to the people who build it.

The Marketplace enables creators to package expertise, trading methodologies, analytical frameworks, portfolio-management systems, and automation workflows into deployable agents.

It also gives participants access to a growing ecosystem of specialized trading systems.

Through the Marketplace, participants can browse, evaluate, and deploy agents across a wide range of trading disciplines.

These include technical analysis, portfolio supervision, execution optimization, liquidity interpretation, volatility monitoring, quantitative strategies, risk management, and specialized automation frameworks.

The Marketplace turns trading intelligence into a reusable and accessible resource while preserving the permission controls, execution safeguards, and enforcement mechanisms that govern the broader Candora platform.

### Transparent agent discovery

Useful automation only matters if participants can understand what they are deploying.

Every Marketplace listing includes a detailed operational profile describing how an agent is designed to function, which markets it supports, the information it consumes, the actions it may request, and the execution modes it supports.

Participants can review an agent's intended purpose, supported assets, deployment requirements, pricing structure, and performance history before deciding whether to deploy it.

The objective is to make agents easier to evaluate and compare without forcing participants to rely solely on marketing claims.

### Performance visibility

The Marketplace is designed around measurable performance rather than opaque promises.

Agent listings may display historical operating statistics such as:

* performance history
* risk-adjusted return metrics
* historical drawdowns
* deployment longevity
* user adoption metrics
* active deployment counts
* reliability statistics
* operational stability indicators

These statistics give participants more context when evaluating whether an agent aligns with their objectives and risk tolerance.

Past performance does not guarantee future results, but transparent performance visibility supports better deployment decisions.

### Deployable trading intelligence

Once deployed, Marketplace agents operate through the same Candora Edge framework used by privately created agents.

Participants retain full control over how much authority an agent receives.

Before activation, each deployment must be assigned a Permission Envelope defining the markets, actions, exposure limits, risk parameters, and operating conditions available to the agent.

Marketplace agents cannot bypass these restrictions.

They do not receive special execution privileges, improved queue priority, preferential latency treatment, or access to alternative market pathways.

All actions continue to flow through Candora's standard execution, risk, and market-integrity systems.

Publishing expands access to automation.

It does not expand authority.

### Creator monetization

The Marketplace allows creators to earn revenue from the automation systems they develop.

Participants can package proprietary trading knowledge, analytical frameworks, portfolio-management methodologies, automation systems, and specialized expertise into deployable agents distributed across the ecosystem.

Agents may be offered through subscription-based access, usage-based pricing, premium analytical services, or other supported distribution models.

All Marketplace payments are settled in CAN.

When a participant deploys a paid agent, the associated CAN fees are automatically distributed according to the Marketplace revenue model.

A portion of the payment is allocated to the creator of the agent, allowing developers, traders, researchers, and strategy designers to monetize successful systems directly through the Candora ecosystem.

This creates an incentive structure that rewards useful automation while encouraging continuous innovation and strategy development.

### CAN-powered agent economy

The Marketplace operates using CAN as its native settlement asset.

Participants pay CAN to access premium agents, advanced automation systems, specialized trading frameworks, and other Marketplace services.

Creators receive CAN when their agents are deployed and actively used by other participants.

This creates a direct economic relationship between creators and users while aligning Marketplace activity with the broader Candora ecosystem.

As adoption grows, the Marketplace becomes a self-reinforcing network where valuable trading intelligence can be distributed, utilized, and monetized through a common settlement framework.

### Agent updates and versioning

Trading systems evolve over time.

Models improve, strategies adapt, and new analytical capabilities emerge.

To preserve transparency, Marketplace agents maintain visible version histories and update records.

Participants can review major revisions, understand how an agent has changed, and evaluate whether updates affect its behavior, operating assumptions, or deployment requirements.

This helps prevent silent behavioral drift while maintaining accountability throughout an agent's lifecycle.

### Safety and Marketplace integrity

The Marketplace is designed to encourage innovation without compromising platform integrity.

All deployed agents remain subject to [Edge Infrastructure](/whitepaper/candora-pro/candora-edge/infrastructure.md), Permission Envelopes, runtime controls, auditability requirements, and exchange-level protections.

Agents cannot obtain authority beyond the permissions granted by the deploying user.

Low-quality, unstable, abusive, or non-compliant systems may be restricted, suspended, removed, or otherwise limited through Marketplace governance and platform-integrity controls where appropriate.

The objective is not to guarantee that every published agent will be successful.

The objective is to ensure that every deployed agent remains accountable to the same operational boundaries that govern the rest of the Candora ecosystem.

### Relationship to Candora Edge

The Edge Marketplace serves as the distribution and monetization layer of the ecosystem, enabling those agents to be discovered, evaluated, deployed, and monetized across the Candora community.

Together, these components create a complete lifecycle for intelligent trading systems, from creation and deployment to distribution and monetization.

### System role

The Edge Marketplace serves as:

* the agent-distribution platform
* the creator monetization system
* the discovery framework
* the deployment marketplace
* the performance-transparency layer
* the CAN-powered automation economy
* the commercial ecosystem for trading intelligence

By enabling participants to discover, deploy, evaluate, and monetize AI-powered trading systems, the Edge Marketplace transforms trading intelligence into a reusable digital asset while preserving the transparency, accountability, and execution safeguards that define Candora Edge.
